he breakfast was ok but minimal didnt get everything requested.
Dislikes:
room was cold, paintwork was dirty on windows, cobwebs, shampoo etc was half used towels were like sandpaper. tv had 4 channels 3 bar electric heater with only 1 bar working

We apologise that Loughbrow House did not meet your expectations. As it was a cold night for the time of year, the central heating was on. If the heater provided was not adequate a replacement would have been provided.
Items selected on the menu were provided and the cook asked on two occassions at least if you required anything further. We apoligise again if you were not satified with the service provided.

if you like spooky old neglected properties then this is for you. If you like warm comfortable places then i definately wouldnt recommend this. We really felt unconfortable and coudnt wait to leave.

Loughbrow House is a large House sitting in the middle of its own Estate with 9 acres of Garden which are Mrs Clark`s pride and joy.
The house is furnished with antiques and family portraits. The drawing room is 44ft. long with a plaster ceiling and marble Chimney piece.
There are 1 double bedroom en-suite, 1 twin en suite, 1 twin room with private bath room and two single bedrooms with shared bathroom.
A full English breakfast is provided and we are able to accommodate a party of four or more in addition we can provide diner with sufficient notice.
We are very well situated for the Roman Wall racing at Hexham and there are three golf courses close by. It is easy to access Durham and the Lake District.
Visitors are free to walk anywhere on the Estate and the views to enjoy are magnificent!

‘If you want to be able to experience a little bit of England, inaccessable to the average tourists in Hotels or ordinary B and Bs stay here. It`s as if one is spending the week-end in someone`s well run country house, charming unpretentious hostess, staff who are efficient and kind, dogs in the hall, excellent meals in proper family dining room, drawing room with grand piano etc.’
The large garden is lovely, Our bathroom reminded me of England 40 years ago, a very pretty room a bath not a shower.
