The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. She recommended some great activities and sights to see. Very knowledgable. We may even go out of our way on our journey home to stay there again.

A former seat of government, with its royal palace and fortress providing panoramic views to the highlands and eastwards down the carse of the Forth towards Edinburgh. Several historic battle sites are within a few miles. The National Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Visitors Centre are both on the edge of the City and you can learn of other places of interest and events in Stirling via our links page. Stirling with its excellent transportation links is an ideal centre to base a touring holiday of Central Scotland upon.
