Not much choice in the area and we needed somewhere to stay for a party being held at this pub. So decided to stay here overnight although we felt it was a bit pricey for a village location. Staff were friendly, we ate an evening meal here, which was very good and breakfast was also excellent along with service. Accommodation would benefit from a bit of a face lift in some areas. The Griffin has Six rooms available for let throughout the year, most of which have en-suite facilities. Each room is equipped with its own colour television and hair dryer. Other facilities are available upon request.
All 4 en-suit rooms have now been refurbished as from the 18th March 2011
The Bar has recently under gone a major refurbishment to bring it into the 21 century, with its laid back seating and new extra cold products it’s a place where you can feel comfortable and relaxed and maybe even enjoy a meal from our menu, at prices to suite everyone.
