Spending time in the country is always a delight, We enjoyed our evening meal and the relaxed atmosphere in the bar.
Dislikes:
Some of the food was not to my exact taste but still enjoyable. I would also suggest a later bar weather it be for the residents or for all as it did feel the night was cut short.

Likes:
The bed were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was full and hearty. A proper vegetarian option would have been appreciated rather than having to pick out those items without meat in.
Dislikes:
Vegetarian option lacking at breakfast although there were plenty of non meat products in the rest of the offering a vegetarian sausage or something may have meant the full breakfast was available.

Looking for a quintessentially English village within easy reach of the capital? A village where the pace of life is relaxed and gentle - far removed from your hectic London lifestyle? Where better place to visit for a weekend break or a relaxing Sunday lunch than The Greyhound Inn at Aldbury. Overlooking the delightful duck pond and ancient stocks, you'll find a stay at this historic former coaching inn will help you unwind the moment you cross the threshold.

We are a small, family run country hotel with eight en suite rooms. Our guests at the Greyhound Inn enjoy the benefits of having one of the top local restaurants on the premises.

Our staff go out of their way to make you feel at home, whether your stay is just for one night or a week long holiday. We are open all year, indeed, in winter time the inglenook fireplace in the public bar is piled high with blazing logs - nothing could be more romantic.
