We take pride in our home cooking and offer an extensive breakfast menu - using locally sourced farm produce – making use of the outstanding quality of food from Cornwall. We are environmentally conscious and recycle wherever possible.
At Trelawney Guest House you can be assured of a warm welcome and we will do everything to make your stay in Falmouth a comfortable and stress-free experience. Trelawney is the perfect location for a relaxing stay in Falmouth with many interesting places to visit close by.
This is a central location from which to explore not only Falmouth but much of Cornwall including the nearby Lizard. Some of the finest beaches are just a short walk away. Enjoy a pleasant boat trip; experience the varied coast line, nearby villages and see the seals and dolphins along the way. Stroll through Falmouth town with its varied array of interesting shops, galleries, unusual cafes, bars and restaurants, many with harbour and sea views.
Falmouth is accessible by road, rail and by sea. Newquay Airport is about an hour drive with links to London. Trelawney offer free transfers from local rail and coach stations.
Environmental Statement
We have taken steps to manage our business in an environmentally responsible way.
We recycle all paper, glass, cans and plastic. We compost all kitchen and garden waste for use in our garden.
To conserve energy we use low energy light bulbs, line dry all washing, fitted thermostats to all radiators and use a HE combi boiler for instant hot water. We use a diesel car. We are on a green energy tariff.
To conserve water we have water butts for gardening and to top up the pond. We have hippo bags in all the loos which are mostly dual flush.
To protect the environment, all our cleaning products are phosphate free and our waste bin liners are bio degradable.
We source all our food locally to support local producers, to reduce food miles and buy organic or free range where possible.
Our eggs are from ‘Amazin Organics’ in Penryn and our milk is supplied in reusable glass bottles to reduce plastic.
