"Wonderful Stay!"
We had nothing but a positive experience at the Sheridan Guesthouse. We were made to feel so welcome and there were many personal touches throughout our visit that we truly appreciated. The rooms seemed to be newly made-over. Everything was new and extremely clean, and you could tell a lot of effort was put into making you feel as comfortable as possible each day. We especially enjoyed the new flat screen TV! Read less

Breakfast! The dining room was lovely and the service was so personal -- she even planned for our second morning based on what we said we liked. The Scottish breakfast was huge and delicious.
Dislikes:
We didn't dislike anything, but if you are looking for a place RIGHT in the heart of the city centre, note that this is about a 20-minute walk or a short bus-ride..it was very easy and a better value.

"Clean, comfortable and friendly service! would definetly recommend!"
The hotel was very clean, modern and comfortable. The owner was extremely friendly and we received complimentary champagne and chocolates on our arrival. The rooms were cleaned daily during our stay and the owners tried their best to accomodate us. Breakfast was served between 8-9.30am but the owners would still be catering outside this period aswell. There was a lot of choice for breakfast and it was all brilliant! would definetly stay again! Read less

The service provided was excellent!
Dislikes:
It was about 10 minutes away from the town centre on a bus, this would be okay but we went over the new year period and the buses and taxis were quite unreliable - couldn't fault the hotel though!
