It was in a quieter area of Blackpool although right on the sea front - lovely views of the illuminations. We could watch the decorated trams going past at night which my son loved.

The Rutland Hotel is 3 star European accredited family run establishment. Superb views of the Irish sea complement our friendly well stocked bar area.
Children and pets are welcome as we cater for couples and families and pre arranged large groups only (sorry no stags or hens welcome). All of our rooms are en suite and were recently refurnished. Facilities in the rooms are as follows: tea/coffee; television; towels; hair dryer; iron maid service; a welcome bathroom pack.
The restaurant provides excellent home cooked meals with a varied choose of 4 courses served at 5pm. A children’s menu and special diets are catered for. Bar snacks are available.
Breakfast is served at 8 15 am to 9 30 am, both waitress service and self service, with a wide choice to choose from. It is all cooked fresh for your enjoyment.
We are in an excellent location on the north promenade for shows, town centre shopping, winter gardens, piers, Blackpool tower, golf courses and of course the beach with tram and bus stops adjacent to the hotel.
Good home cooked food using fresh farm produce, good standards of comfort and cleanliness are all in the unique friendly atmosphere that the Rutland has come to be known and recommended for.
Credit & debit cards are accepted. We provide a free wifi service for all of our guests, plus car parking at the front of hotel with unlimited parking close by. Summer and illuminations special Monday to Friday.
We genuinely aim to make your stay a pleasant one, which will be remembered for a bright cheerful service.
