Please note - this was a rented house - not a hotel. It was in a quiet setting - but very central to getting about.

We were both interested in William Lever and the building of Port Sunlight. For us, it was a three-day break with a focus on history. The 'Sunlight Vision' Museum gave an excellent run-down of the building of the estate and the Lady Lever Gallery an insight into the man himself. We were only sorry not to manage a performance by the Port Sunlight Players at the Gladstone Theatre as well. Read less
Likes:
It was ideally situated in the village of Port Sunlight and was very reasonably priced.
Dislikes:
The downstairs bathroom was a bit of a nuisance; it would have been helpful to have known about it in advance. It was a shame that so much of the decor was in dark brown.
