Likes:
The hotel has been fully refurbished very recently and the quality of my room, especially the bathroom, was first class. Breakfast was delicious.
Dislikes:
My room was a little cold on the first night, but this turned out to be a problem with the heating system of which the proprietor was previously unaware. The problem was fixed the next day: a Sunday!

We offer the best value in comfort, home cooking and service, complemented by a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are positioned on a quiet avenue near the seafront, overlooking Whitley Park. We are minutes from the beach, indoor leisure pool, town centre and Metro station.
We are ideally situated for visiting historic Northumbria and all areas of Newcastle and Tyne and Wear. The hotel offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to make guests feel at home. We have a beautiful lounge with a large coal fire for our guests to relax in front of. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Pets are allowed by arrangement. Check-In time: 12:00 and Check-Out time: 10:30.
