The Ocean view is situated in an excellent location between Bournemouth and Boscombe, being a good starting point for walks along the sea front while also being close to Bournemouth town centre and the frequent buses for journeys further afield. The hotel is good value for money and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Read less

We particularly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the food which was delicious and plentiful and we have already booked another short break.
Dislikes:
Our only slight disappointment was that the television reception was not brilliant in our bedroom but this was improved to some extent once we informed the management.

Come and enjoy uninterupted views of this year's Air Show taking place 19th - 22nd August 2010 between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers. You can expect to see the world famous Red Arrows, RAF Falcons Parachute display team, Eurofighter Typhoon, Battle of Britain Memorial flight as well as laser shows and fireworks.
We are located directly above the miles of golden sandy beaches which are accessed either by zig-zag pathways or cliff top lift (summer months only). All 52 of our rooms are en suite, some boasting sea views and balconies. For those wishing to relax outside our outdoor heated swimming pool (April-Sept) in our sunken landscaped gardens is an ideal place to enjoy the sunshire.
There is a games room at our sister hotel for the young at heart with skittles alley, pool table, darts, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4.
Bournemouth is an ideal base for visiting the surrounding areas. The Jurassic Coast, the Purbeck Hills and New Forest are known for their outstanding beauty. The Isle of Wight is just a short trip by ferry from Lymington or in the summer boats go from Bournemouth Pier. Whilst Brownsea Island (made famous by Baden Powell as the first scout camp), the Bovington Tank Museum and (as seen on TV) Monkey World are only a short distance away.
There are extensive road, rail and air links with Bournemouth International Airport only 10km away and Bournemouth Interchange (for rail and coach links) 2km away.
