That it was a " base " within walking distance near a weekend function we were attending
Dislikes:
A party of guests who when returning in the early hours of both Sat/Sun AM, were intent of making as much noise as they could before quieting down, totally disregarding or considering other guests.

We were looking for a budget B&B close to The Winter Gardens, the Netherton House fitted the purpose, being about ten minutes or so to get there. We managed to get parked just around the corner for free, however there is a pay and display car park at the end of the street. Our room was small but it did have its own bathroom, we don't really like to share. This is a no frills place, but we were happy. It may not suit everyone, especially if you are fussy. Read less

The B&B was in a good location, close enough to everything, we were mainly visiting the northern end of town. The owner carried my bags to the room, thanks, and we never saw him again until checkout.
Dislikes:
The room could do with a good dust, but it was ok for what we paid and for what we wanted.

Netherton house is located in the famous seaside resort of Blackpool. Its a friendly family run hotel situated centrally, only 2 minutes from the promenade and only 5 minutes from the town centre. We are situated just off the Promenade in a popular area of the Foxhall Village the oldest part of Blackpool even older than the tower. The famous tramway running along the Promenade is convenient for visiting the Illuminations, Tower, Theatres, Central Shopping Area, Winter Gardens Theatres and Pleasure Beach. At the Netherton you can enjoy fresh home cooked food with a choice of breakfast and evening meal. We also have a fully licensed bar with draught beers and bar snacks. Secure parking is available at either end of the street with a limited on street parking. The Netherton prides itself on its high standard of comfort, ensuring your holiday is relaxed and carefree. PLEASE NOTE: Check In is from14.00& Check Out is by 11:00. We are a no smoking accommodation. Regrettably we cannot accept pets.
