We stayed at the Grosvenor place for two nights as we were attending a wedding in the area. I booked the luxury double and my friend a single. Excellent value for money. The hotel is in a very central location. Adelaide the landlady was fantastic, very friendly and most helpful(I had a number of enquiries prior to my stay re hairdressers etc and Adelaide responded promptly each time with helpful suggestions).
Our rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast yummy. Read less

The comfortable bed, the friendliness of our host and hostess. The quality of the full English. Beautifully cooked and presented. Adelaide recommended a fantastic Italian restaurant Bollocini.
Dislikes:
Minor thing but the sockets for hairdryer and hair straighteners not near a mirror. Suggest some small mirrors for us ladies.

The guest house is currently undergoing a full redecoration and refurbishment which while being sensitive to the age and style of the building will meet all your modern needs.
Grosvenor Place is just 2 minutes away from Chester city centre, a fantastic city steeped in history and culture. You can view and walk the City walls or visit Britain’s oldest amphitheatre or just pop next door to the Grosvenor Museum. Why not stroll along the River Dee or take a boat? Chester has a wealth of shops, boutiques and restaurants for you to explore or can shop at the Designer Outlet Centre which is just 10 minutes away. Chester is home to England’s largest zoo so Chester Zoo is worth a visit. Further a field you can visit Manchester, Liverpool or North Wales.
