The Old School B&B

The Old School B&B offers quality accommodation in a former village school located in a quiet village only a few miles west of Ely. The village can be accessed from either the A10 or A142 and is convenient for Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket, the Fens, Thetford Forest and the Norfolk coast.

The Old School is set in an acre of gardens and horse paddocks, with splendid views across the Fens onto Ely Cathedral. The 3 bedrooms are all on ground floor level and have recently been tastefully re-decorated. They are accessible for guests with impaired mobility.

Residents are welcome to relax in the guest lounge and conservatory overlooking the garden in the afternoon over a cup of tea or coffee and have access to a wide choice of books and information of local, geographical and historical as well as equestrian, canine and general interest.

We have 5 dogs ourselves, so visiting dogs are very welcome at The Old School B&B. We are Pets Welcome approved by Visit Britain. They can stay in the room with you and come to the guest lounge. We have a large garden and there are a number of nice local walks.

We can advise you where to take your dog for walks in lovely Thetford Forest, on the beautiful North Norfolk beaches or in the wide Cambridgeshire Fens.
