Canterbury is just a few minutes away. The historic village of Chilham, with its castle, medieval square (made famous by twice being featured in the TV series Poirot), pubs and tea rooms is less than ten minutes away. The seaside resort town of Whitstable can be reached by car in around 20 minutes and both Faversham and Ashford are within easy reach. Parking: There is ample off road parking space.
The challenging Canterbury Golf Course can be reached in 10-15 minutes. The beautiful and quiet Faversham Golf Club at Belmont Park, is not far away, and the two championship courses at Sandwich; Princes and of course Royal St.Georges, are just 35 minutes away. Woodlands sits in almost an acre of beautiful landscaped gardens, and every room has the benefit of country views. All rooms have digital TV, DVD and CD player and a selection of DVDs, books and CDs are available. Selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate and mineral water.
Our top double room is en suite. Bedroom 2 is a double and bedroom 3 is a twin. If bedroom 2 or 3 is reserved, then the other room is not let, so that the use of the luxury bathroom with separate shower is exclusive and not shared. Of course, families can - and often do - book both rooms and share the facilities
