Description

Self Assessed 3 Stars Guest House

The Witchingham is located close to Holyhead Port (with ferries departing daily to Dunlaoghaire -Stena Line and Dublin -Irish Ferries) and close to Holyhead Railway Station. Both can be accessed by foot over the Celtic Bridge within 10 minutes.

The accommodation is located close to the beach and enjoys views over Holyhead Harbour. Its central location means the town centre is nearby with good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy the stunning local scenery, coastal Path and Blue Flag beaches.

Holyhead is the largest town on the island of Anglesey and is perhaps known best for being a busy ferry port. However, visitors should also note that the town has a number of interesting attractions and is a bustling shopping and visitors area in its own right.

The town centre offers a number of good places to eat, a theatre and a cinema. There are a range of places for the visitor to stay and Holyhead is often used as an overnight stop on the way to, or from, holidaying in Ireland or as a centre for touring the island of Anglesey itself.

Around Holyhead there is excellent fishing, golfing and, of course, sailing facilities. Couple this with the wonderful scenery, walks and beaches and you can easily lose yourself and relax for a few days.

From Anglesey, ferries operate to Dublin with the superfast ferry only taking 99 minutes to complete the single journey. A day trip to sample the wonderful Dublin is easily achievable and is far cheaper that you think.
