Very enjoyable short stay, comfortable and relaxing. Our first visit to Canterbury, and well worth it.

Description

AA 4 Stars Guest Accommodation

Accommodation at The White House offers a mix of double or twin rooms and one single room. Each room has been individually designed to ensure maximum comfort and to provide elegant and stylish accommodation.

Most of the beds have king or super king mattresses and are dressed in contemporary white linens with comfy, soft pillows.

Our convenient location, situated just off the main High Street and just behind the newly opened Marlowe Theatre and Beaney Museum, ensures all the many attractions are literally on the doorstep, but the property is nicely tucked away for peace and quiet when you need it.

For the food lover, Canterbury boasts an eclectic mix of restaurants and culinary styles and if you venture a bit further afield the seaside town of Whitstable is of course famous for its oysters, with a good selection of local restaurants and pubs finding their way into prestigious Good Food guides.

So whatever your reason for visiting Canterbury - maybe to enjoy the architechture, history and charm of a vibrant Cathedral City; to watch an exciting production at the Marlowe Theatre, just passing through from the ferry ports; attending a wedding celebration; visiting your hard working student daughters or sons at the University - or perhaps you are here for business - we trust you will choose us for your stay.

It's easy to find us - Canterbury West and East Railway Stations are within walking distance, as are the Coach and Bus stations. There is also easy access from the M2 if you are driving. Although we do not have our own dedicated car park, public parking is conveniently located 50 metres from our door, for which we can provide concessionary vouchers of £5.00 for a 24 hour stay.

Please kindly note - we only accept bookings for older children (aged over 16 years only,so no infants, toddlers or under 16's) and our Grade II listing means we do not unfortunately have lift facilities for less able guests or ground floor rooms.
