The local village of Carrbridge also has a great History, with many stories to tell, and it's local attractions include an old bridge (photo) built in 1717, The Landmark Center and Microworld. The Pines Country House is situated in the heart of the Highlands, with so many attractions surrounding, there is something for everyone!

The Country House itself is surrounded by a mature Pine Forest, which encourages wildlife to be on our doorstep. This is the natural habitat of the red squirrel, rabbits, blue tits, great tits, crested tits, siskins, tree creeper, woodpeckers, buzzards and if you're quick enough, you can see Roe Deer. Ospreys hide is 7 miles at RSPB reserve Boat-of-Garten Eagles sore above the valley of the Findhorn 15 miles. In the surrounding area there are lots of Castles to view, Whisky Distilleries for the Scotland favourite tipple. Fishing on Lochans or on the River Spey. Each village is host to Golf course 9 or 18 holes.

Lynn offers you personal service in The Pines Country Guest House in a friendly atmosphere, non smoking throughout, central heating. Offering Family/Triple/Twin/Double en-suite rooms all have TV/DVD or Video and Wi-Fi avaliable Tea/coffee facilities in all rooms. Good home cooking, Vegetarians Special Diets welcomed. Lynn won the World Porridge Championships in 2005 so if you like porridge for breakfast please say.

Ideal situation for plenty of Hill walking, in the mountains high or low walks Pony trekking locally, 2 or 4 hour treks. Off road driving, use either your own vehicle or one provided. Golf, Fishing for salmon onn the River Spey, Ski-ing, Bird watching Osprey hide RSPB 7 miles away, Distilleries to vist and Castles, Water Sports, Landmark Adventure playgrounds for all ages, plus breathtaking scenery.
