Description
Well furnished rooms recognise the Victorian history of the house but acknowledge the changes that have taken place over the years. The focus is on a comfortable experience. Wonderful views from each room make a stay seem exciting and mysterious. Bedrooms, with ensuite facilities decorated with tiles from Provence, are painted in relaxing colours.
The sitting room, available for all, has views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales and of Countisbury Head running down from Exmoor to the sea. Log fires in winter make this lovely and relaxed. In the summer, the terrace, with the sound of the sea is a fabulous place to sit and share a drink.
Meals are taken at our craftsman made refectory style dining table, a friendly and relaxed place sharing experiences of the day’s activities. The food lovingly cooked from locally sourced ingredients.
Whatever the time of year or the weather, there is always plenty to occupy the interested visitor, much of it without using a car.
