My name is Susan and I would like to welcome you to my beautiful home. I have worked in the catering industry most of my life but my ultimate dream was to run a B&B. I trained as a Cordon Bleu Chef at the Tante Marie School of Cookery in 1977. I ran a small country hotel in the New Forest for many years and more recently ran a household on a country estate. So, here is my dream!
Easy access from London, the South East and Midlands makes Langtry the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, romantic weekend break or, for the more energetic, there are opportunities for walking, horseback riding, golf, cycling, sea fishing, fly fishing and tennis.
On arrival at Langtry you will be shown to your individually styled, en-suite room. All the bedrooms are very spacious, simply but tastefully decorated and all have flat screen TV with DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, filtered water and hairdryers. The comfortable beds are made up with Egyptian Cotton sheets and the bathrooms have large fluffy towels, bathrobes and hand made toiletries
LANGTRY COTTAGE is a self catering holiday cottage adjoining Langtry Country House Bed and Breakfast. It is situated on the outskirts of the village of Washford close to the historic town of Watchet. Ideal for people wanting to visit Exmoor, Minehead, Glastonbury, The Quantock Hills and Taunton as well as touring further into Devon and Cornwall.
