Description
The house has been providing guest accommodation since at least the 1960's - we occasionally get callers who tell us they used to stay here when they were children. The farm's location in an AONB makes it ideal for those seeking total peace and relaxation.
The farm achieved organic status about 10 years ago which has increased its appeal. The bridleway running through the farm was used by Queen Victoria's carriage when she visited the neighbouring Appuldurcombe Estate.
We have 2 self catering properties. Pheasant sleeps up to 5 persons and up to 7 can be accommodated in Lake View.
The cottages are all well equipped and comfortable - please see our website for further details. www.godshillparkfarm.uk.com
The Shepherd's hut sleeps 2 adults - a tent could be arranged for the children by arrangement. Guests are welcome to use the hall in the main house. The shower is a short walk from the Hut, which is in a secluded location next to a small lake.
Our two B&B rooms are spacious and comfortable with en suite facilities (both have bath and free standing shower), colour TV and countryside views.
WiFi is available. Breakfast is served in the impressive oak-panelled hall. Business guests are welcome. Laundry service is available on request.
Local and organic produce is used wherever possible including free range Isle of Wight bacon and sausages produced on a neighbouring farm, our own free range eggs and honey, British organic milk and butter plus preserves homemade with our own fruit. Locally pressed apple juice is served together with a selection of other pure fruit juices.
As we only cater for a few guests at a time the service is very personal and we aim to provide a home from home.

Environmental Statement
We have a Green Island Gold Award.
The grounds are treated organically and wildlife is encouraged. Only native plants are used and the grounds are not manicured therefore watering is kept to a minimum. All glass, paper and food waste is recycled/composted and guests are encouraged to do the same. We have a green island gold award and a copy of our environmental policy is provided for each unit. Water saving bags are fitted in the toilets to minimise water used for flushing.
There are several footpaths which cross our organic farmland and these are well used by locals and visitors. Local schoolchildren have visited the farm. A local part time seasonal cleaner is employed.
Toiletries provided for guests are produced on the island from locally grown lavender, cakes are also locally made, all services used are local tradespeople,
Guests are encouraged to recycle and make a donation to Gift to Nature.
