I had taken my parents to Peterborough, Eye and Crowland to visit relatives. We considered a hotel but the self-catering cottage was perfect in every way and added to our trip as it was so well equipped that we could invite groups of family and friends over to visit us there. It was very comfortable for a small group of visitors and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, plates and cutlery that we even cooked a meal there for our guests! Read less

The cottage design was well planned and it is beautifully decorated, so it was quite enjoyable to spend time there. We wished we had more time to listen to the CDs, watch a DVD or read a book!

We were provided with what Julie describes are a starter breakfast but it almost lasted the 3 of us 3 days of breakfastes. there was also plenty of tea and coffee for the whole of our visit.The purpose of our visit was to visit our son who lives nearby in Peterborough. Access to Peterborough and various places of interest from here was easy as the main access road was fairly close by. Thanks to you both for a great stay. Read less

As they is a dishwasher and plenty of crockery there is no for washing up. Also the private area outside the lodge was a good place to sit in the early evening.
