My mother and I stayed here on a two day trip through Belfast. Lovely and quiet. Just a short ride to the city. Nearby restaurants and bus stops. Would stay again.

Description

Self Assessed 3 Stars Guest House

Camera guest house is an authentic 19th century Victorian building situated in the leafy suburbs of South Belfast. It takes its name from the many photographers who stayed with us through-out the ‘troubles’ in the 70’s and 80’s in order to avoid the bomb threats in the bigger hotels. We are a family run guest house located in Belfast, which provides an ideal base for leisure and business visitors and offers a warm welcome.

Camera guest house is located within walking distance of the city centre and close to all public transport routes. We are in an area which plays host to a variety of top-class restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops on the Malone road and Lisburn roads, situated in picturesque surroundings and close to the beautiful Botanic Gardens, Queen’s University, the American Embassy, the Public Records Office, Ulster Museum and other places in interest.

At Camera Guest House we can arrange a variety of tours and recommend the famous Black Taxi tours of Belfast - a fun, friendly and educational tour from local guides who will charm you with local stories. Tours can take in the City Centre, through the Shipyards to see where the Titanic was built, to the political districts and then on to the elegant University Quarter and the Ulster Museum.

You can also spend memorable days on the coastal tour which takes you to carrickfergus Castle, Carrick-a-Rede, Bushmills Whiskey Distillery and the Giants Causeway. All the while marvelling at the breath-taking views and the delights of the Antrim coast.
