Under the same family ownership since 2003, the Canberra is centrally located, only a couple of minutes' walk from Central Pier and the Promenade and close to the Beach, Tower, Tussaud's Waxworks, Sealife Centre, Coral Island, Bonny Street Market, Houndshill Shopping Centre and approximately 15-20 minutes' walk (or a short tram ride) from the Pleasure Beach, with the night-life of Queen Street a short taxi ride (approximately £5) away.
There are also several local pubs and bars within a short walking distance, most of which feature evening entertainment.
There is free, unrestricted on-street parking, as well as a Pay-and-Display car park at the end of Coop Street and the main, council run Central Car Park opposite the entrance to Coop Street. Both car parks are about a minute's walk. from the Canberra.
There is a local corner shop at the end of Coop Street, and a Tesco Express, local Post Office and bank about 3 minuts' walk away.
The Canberra is pet friendly subject to prior arrangement at the pet owner's risk, although we do request guests not to leave their pets unattended in the apartment.
The apartments are a short taxi ride from both railway stations and the bus station. Blackpool Airport is approximately 2 miles away.
