The room was very comfortable and the balcony was an added bonus - we enjoyed breakfast alfresco on all mornings! Would thoroughly recommend Amberton. Read less

Location - walking distance into Porlock for dinner. Nice clean bedroom with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Fridge in room very useful and Wendy's homemade bread was delish!

2 nights in an extremely comfortable, spacious room, beautifully clean, well furnished and with superb facilities for making refreshments and light meals. Lovely views and with excellent weather, able to take advantage of the private balcony and sip wine looking over Porlock to the sea.
Breakfast delivered to the room suited us very well and was more than adequate with delicious warm croissants and pastries. Read less

We chose "Amberton" as it had excellent reviews and we were not disappointed. The room was very comfortable and warm and very well equipped. We loved the view from the window and plan to go back in summer when we can take full advantage of the deck. We liked having breakfast delivered to our room and Wendy provided us with so much food that it served as our lunch as well! Information about the local area was in plentiful supply as well as suggestions from Wendy for walks. Highly recommended. Read less
