Near to the function. Bed room good size for my 6'4" frame. Friendly reception/service vis all requ'ts.
Dislikes:
Dislike is too strong..but could've done with light in corridor 'tween Outerdoor/RoomNo1-when O/door closes guest left in dark & has to hold open O/door yet trying to open lock, & key turns wrong way

We were attending a friend's wedding locally and wanted somewhere local, affordable and of good quality. We arrived at midday on the Saturday and left at 11 am the following day after a great night's sleep and a lovely breakfast. The rooms were recently refurbished to a high standard and very comfortable. The bathroom was great and everything was immaculately presented. We couldn't have asked for more for the cost. Read less

Good ambience, private enough without being distanced from the main premises. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. The owners are interested without being intrusive, friendly people.
Dislikes:
Absolutely nothing! I'd be astounded as to what there could be to complain about.

The staff/owners were really freindly and our room was really clean and well equipped. if there was a gripe it was lack of phone in the room as the mobile service is very patchy here and the room is a little small. these are minor issues though. We stayed in the converted barn which was lovely and warmn. Read less
