I treated my Fiance to a weekend away in Ilfracombe. The hotel was good value for money and Richard and Annette and Richard were both very friendly and tried their best to meet your needs. Good recommendations on where to eat out in the evening. Room was nice and clean, and cleaned daily with a mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities and an en suite shower room. Read less

Only thing I would say was the bed in the room we stayed in was very uncomfortable- mattress felt like it was in need of changing. The tv was not working during our stay either

Many thanks Nicola for taking the time to add a review. We were sorry that you found our "Smaller Double Room".....small?. it was a shame that the new bed in your room was not comfortable for you. We apologised during your stay for the technical problem with your television which we tried to resolve by having an engineer visit our guesthouse on Bank holiday Sunday and Monday. You expressed to us that it really was not a problem as you were able to play some dvd's. and this was out of our control
