We stayed three nights at Chimney's Bed and Breakfast and we loved the house and the rooms at first glance. It's such a beautiful old house and the owners are so friendly. There's also a big folder in each room with lots of information about sightseeing. We should have stayed longer to see more of it (e.g. Powderham Castle)We took the ferry to Exmouth (beautiful town with a long beach) and visited Exeter. Read less

Chimneys is a family run guest house of outstanding beauty. The establishment provides fantastic views of the Exe Estuary and is within easy reach of some of Devon's finest unspoilt countryside and beaches as well as Powderham Castle. The Chimneys Guest House is fantastic value for money with rooms starting from as little as £27.50 per person per night, and weekly rates are available. Here at the Chimneys Guest House we have 5 bedrooms available for our guests to choose from. Some rooms have lovely estuary views and all are available with en-suite shower rooms.
There is also a fully licensed restaurant serving english home cooked food at a reasonable price.
With easy access to Dartmouth National Park, The River Exe, Exeter, Exmouth and Torbay a relaxing and sometimes adventurous holiday awaits you at the Chimneys Guest House. Starcross has a mini golf course, various boating clubs and a passenger only ferry across the estuary to Exmouth.
With the fantastic facilities available close by for example the Ten Tors and Dawlish Warren, you won't need to go far to ensure you enjoy your visit.
