"One of the worst nights ever spend in hotel or guest house."

staff was very good and helpful. He arranged room key very well even I was late for check-in.
Dislikes:
I dislike the broken window and the fact I was unable to have a proper sleep.

I am dissapointed with the comments, although I know the gentlemen is correct to a degree, but I don't want the comment to be misleading in that the window or glass was never broken. What i think he means is as it was an extremely windy night the window may have shuddered as they are sash windows and cannot be replaced by double glazed ones as we live in a conservation area. The window was not broken. But we will make every effort to have them looked at so that they do not shudder as much.

The Briary is an atmospheric detached Victorian residence with real character and charm. The hotel is in the suburb of Nether Edge which is only a 5 minute drive to Sheffield city centre and its many attractions. Many of the original features remain, including a large Victorian-style conservatory. No need to worry about parking, there is a private free car park on-site for guests to use.
Guests can have a very early check in and a late check out by prior arrangement. All bedrooms are En-suite and the whole building benefits from free wireless internet, Flat screen tv's, tea & coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board are available on request. All room prices include a Full English Breakfast
The Briary operates a no smoking policy for the comfort of all our guests. We welcome children of any age. Guests can choose from a selection of room types including Single. Double, Twin and Family rooms. Pets are also made welcome, providing they are house trained. An additional £7.00 charge will be made.
