Achilty House (formerly Achilty Hotel) is a family run Bed and Breakfast business, perfectly located only 17 miles north of Inverness in the highland village of Contin, by Strathpeffer.
Accommodation includes 12 double or twin rooms and all have ensuite shower facilities and central heating . All guests are treated to a delicious traditional Scottish or continental breakfast to kick start their day. Packed lunches can be provided by prior arrangment.

Achilty is only a Bed and Breakfast. We do not provide entertainment for guests. We do not ask guests to stay in their rooms. There is no curfew.
If the room was cold ,why not ask for some heating at the time.
We are beside the road, we make no pretence of that.Bathrrom does not require a fan as there is a opening window Christopher Slater

It provides Highland hotel accommodation ideally situated for touring the Highlands and islands of Scotland. It is well situated for exploring the local area.
There are also numerous activities nearby such as walking, golfing or fishing. Tourist Attarctions easily accessible include Loch Ness, Dunrobin House, Glen Morangie Distillery, Climb Munros and Fort George to name but a few.
Achilty House has 11 tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms:- single, double and twin for you to enjoy during your Scottish Highland holiday vacation. The Wyvis Lounge is for our guests to relax in, where there are a selection of board games and books for your use during your visit. The hotel restaurant has been awarded a red rosette by the AA for the quality of its food.
