"Excellent food but cold rooms."
I was disappointed when I first saw our room, we had paid extra for a bigger room and a bigger bed, but the only way to describe it was 'tired'. The bed was comfortable but we had to put all spare blankets on because the room was so cold and we even had to have a bath to warm up before we went to bed because the room and the restaurant were so cold. The breakfast on both mornings was excellent as were both evening meals. Hotel needed a roaring open fire to add warmth and character. Read less
Likes:
The evening meals were beautifully cooked and presented and there were a wide selection of dishes that appealed. Plentiful supply of hot water.
Dislikes:
Lack of warmth and 'tired' room. Toilet seat was loose and the shower leaked over the floor, no matter what we tried to do with the shower curtain.
