West Kellow Farmhouse

West Kellow Farm is the perfect location for your holiday. Here you can take a relaxing stroll around the gardens and wander down to the wild life pond to watch birds, ducks, moorhens, fish and other wildlife in their natural surroundings. There are three pretty ensuite double bedrooms in the Victorian farmhouse available for bed and breakfast guests.

Just a short walk across the fields will bring you to Polperro, where you can take a horse drawn bus down to the harbour and enjoy the atmosphere of this quaint fishing village with its smugglers caves and sample the restaurants and pubs, many with live music in the summer. From Polperro you can join the coastal path and discover the secluded bays of Lansallos and Lantivet to the west and Talland and the popular beach at Looe to the east.

The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the National Trust house and gardens at Lanhydrock are all within easy reach. Other attractions include Polperro with its narrow, winding streets, harbour and sandy beach with caves and rock pools to explore is close by. Futher along the coast you will find the historic fishing port of Looe where children can enjoy the safe, sandy beach and go crab fishing off the quay. Speed boat rides go from the banjo pier and you can also hire a self drive boat to go up the Looe River where you can see swans and other wildlife. For those with sturdy sea legs, mackerel fishing trips run from the quay.

A short drive away to the west of West Kellow Farm is Lansallos with its secluded bay reached by a footpath which is featured in part of the 'Poldark' series. Continue along the coast to the west and you will find the spectacular bays of Lantivet and Lantic. The rugged beach at Talland Bay lies to the east of West Kellow Farm.
