"Gob-smacked"
On the surface it was fine. Nice rooms, well kept (though it seemed the duvet cover wasn't fresh, only the sheets underneath)

However, being instructed to not leave your room between 23:30 and 08:00 due to it setting a burglar alarm off is insane. And every item on the walls rattling and waking me up every half hour was not exactly fun.

I simply won't be returning even though I need over night accomodation in north west Devon every fortnight. Read less
Likes:
The breakfast was fine and the parking was good.
Dislikes:
Rattling wall hangings.
Rattling head board.
Being 'locked in' the room between 23:30 and 08:00.

Generally feeling like my needs as a customer were secondary. They should not be a hotel.

"A winter sea-side break"
We went back to Wesward Ho as we enjoyed a short stay there earlier in the year and although we could not stay at the village inn we had a lovely evening meal there and thought it would be good to stay there overnight and dine there too on our way home from a family party the previous night. Our room was lovely and we had a very good evening meal. Breakfast was good too with more than enough to eat. Read less
