Townleigh Farm Estate

Set in 262 Acres of rolling Devon countryside, Townleigh offers an idyllic countryside holiday or short break with accommodation for up to 16 people in the heart of West Devon. Townleigh comes fully staffed with a fulltime chef and housekeeper. The four bedrooms are double and can be either twin or double bedded, two are en-suite, the others share a bathroom. The drawing Room and Dining Room can both accommodate 16 people making it an ideal location for a special event/ family reunion.

Our holiday cottages are well situated, furnished to a high standard and equipped with everything you might need. They sleep from between two to eight people and linen, towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. Children and pets are welcome to mingle with the peacocks and pot-bellied pigs that roam free on the estate or to explore the grounds - which contain walled gardens, mature fruit and blossom trees. The gamekeeper may also be around to show you wild deer on the estate and the various conservation projects we are undertaking.

We are ideally placed on the Devon/ Cornwall border within easy access to the moors, North coast beaches and Roadford Lake - South West Lakes Trust largest water sports centre. This is a good base from which to explore the region. If it's culture, landscape, golf or activities that your looking for, there is something for everyone. The nearest cities are Exeter or Plymouth where you'll find the full range of theatres, restaurants and nightlife or you can treat the estate as a total retreat and enjoy absolute peace.
