"We keep going back!"
We found the the Stags Head some years. It is ideally situated for our needs as we need to be able to access an Indoor Bowling green on the north side of Northampton. This visit we managed to see some of the surrounding countryside and will possible return to explore when not bowling.
We have stayed several times with different bowlers and all have enjoyed their stay. Read less

We have found the landlord and staff very friendly and obliging. Food on an evening is very good with a wide choice of menu. Breakfast can be varied to suit taste and time required.

A public house has occupied this site since 1766 (it was formerly named 'The Goat') and the current owner in his 'tenth' year of management.

Whether on business or pleasure, our bed and breakfast facilities provide visitors with clean and comfortable accommodation at affordable prices.

All rooms are en-suite and offer colour television, tea & coffee making facilities and choice of breakfast.

The pub now presents a clean, warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, open 7 days a week, with ample car parking facilities.

Our food is freshly prepared daily by the resident chef, who takes great care to ensure that the quality of the food served is of the highest standard and that our menus are able to provide something for the most discerning palate.

During the warmer months our Garden Terrace and large managed lawn provides the perfect setting for enjoying a light lunch or evening meal while the children play.

With spacious grass areas and patio The Stag's Head provides extensive outdoor facilities to cater for all needs.

The area is famous for its cycle tracks and walks and therefore we often entertain groups of ramblers, coach parties and cyclists who are always welcome to come and relax in comfort and of course try our range of quality ales and pub food.
Environmental Statement
As with all current businesses we aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. A modern working business in an old building does restrain alot of policies but we try to save water, recycle waste, conserve energy and do our very best to be more friendly.
