The Saxon House is originally 2 Victorian stone fronted homes turned into one large Bed&Breakfast.
The Saxon House is located on the A19 Fulford Road giving it direct links to the City Centre of York and the Designer Outlet.
The building itself has maintained many of its original features, this allows each rooms to maintain original features. All of the Saxon Houses rooms come with their own private en-suite facilities, Free-view televisions, Hospitality trays, hairdryers, toilet accessories there is also free WI-FI connection for those who require this during their stay.
A full Yorkshire breakfast is provided, to set up our residents for a full day of sightseeing and exploring the remarkable city of York. After a long days sightseeing/shopping you are welcome to take a rest in the residents lounge to relax, read the papers, watch television or socialise with other guests. We provide guests with their own keys throughout their stay allowing guests to be free to come and go as they please. The room is yours for the duration of your stay and we hope and aim to ensure that your stay is comfortable and homely. Our team will be on hand to provide their local knowledge of the city and attractions, we are available to recommend brochures and a map of the city.
The Saxon House is a 2 minute walk to the river providing a riverside walk to the city centre, we are approximately a 10 minute walk from the centre of York and a 20 minute walk from the Train Station. The Saxon house has a private car park though please be advised this is limited, we recommend when visiting York to travel by Train.
