A later check out time would have been nice - 10am seems a little early on a Sunday!

"A Cast Iron Wonderful Stay"
We stayed two nights in the 'King Size en-suite' room. It was a really wonderful 'find' (the only difficult part being actually locating the Inn in the first place ... no thanks to AA Routemaster which seemed to take us via all the local lanes). The weather, at the time of our stay, wasn't brilliant but this didn't detract from the stay. The Inn and the surrounding area are quite simply ... superb, well recomended to all. Read less
Likes:
The accommodation was very clean, well maintained and a joy to return to of an evening. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the en-suite had a lovely shower. Food was fab and staff very polite.
Dislikes:
Quite simply, there is/was nothing at all to dislike and I would recommend The Meadow Inn to anyone. It's a bit of a 'trek' to the attractions in the area but we love walking anyway ... fab time had.

Think of Ironbridge and think of an inspiring mix of tradition and innovation. Here the cliché of the traditional English Countryside comes to life: Rolling hills with a patchwork quilt of fields, hedgerows, footpaths and the quietest of lanes: Ideal for walking, cycling and horseriding.

There are oodles of historic houses – even a Roman City. Not to mention Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Ludlow.

Then there’s innovation: the vision of ironmasters that made this the birthplace of the industrial revolution: Now celebrated as a UNESCO World Heritage site and by the ten award winning Ironbridge Gorge Museums.

The Meadow Inn where tradition and innovation combine to both excite and delight you – proving that excellence does not have to be compromised to offer great value for money.
