The Durdans

The Durdans guest rooms have been thoughtfully furnished to offer a touch of luxury, guest bedrooms are individually designed to give each one its own special feel. The pocket sprung beds and Egyptian cotton bedding all add to the feeling of luxury. There are TV's and tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and the en-suites carry a range of Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries.

The breakfasts are renowned here, whether you choose a hearty Norfolk cooked breakfast, with locally sourced produce, continental or a lighter fish alternative.

Our bed and breakfast accommodation is perfectly situated for visits to North Norfolk towns like Cromer, Sheringham or Wells-next-the-Sea, the Norfolk Broads, the North Norfolk Heritage coast, the fine City of Norwich, the National Trust Estates of Blickling and Felbrigg Hall and many other attractions.

Andrew and Caroline have created a warm, relaxed atmosphere throughout the house paying particular attention to retaining the original features. The large hall with its Edwardian fireplace is dominated by the wide, sweeping stairs which lead to the stunning, galleried landing above. The dining room and guest sitting room both lead off the hall and have views to the west, overlooking the sunken lawn. The sitting room has a long, wooden window seat perfect for relaxing with a magazine or book chosen from the varied selection.
