Welcoming, attentive attitude of the staff, comfortable room and fresh cooked breakfast.
Dislikes:
Thought the decoration in the restaurant and entrance a bit dingy, was the middle of winter though.

The warmest of welcomes awaits you in this small, friendly, family run hotel, where your hosts are Susan & Euan Cameron. The Station Hotel is situated in the beautiful small town of Portsoy, which is set right on the Moray Firth coast, offering spectacular cliff top and seaside scenery. Portsoy is steeped in Scottish History and its 17th Century harbour is said to be the oldest natural harbour in Europe. This coast is well known for its marine wildlife, the famous Moray Firth Dolphins are regularly sighted as well as many types of whales, porpoises, seals, otters etc.

Portsoy is also an ideal location for those wishing to explore Grampians' Castle and Whisky trails. The Station Hotel, Portsoy now has 14 comfortable en-suite rooms. We are also very proud of our restaurant, which is renowned in the area for its home cooked food. We do our best to ensure all our produced is sourced locally, and we boast the freshest fish in the area. We also have a comfortable bar, a games room area and a lounge in which to relax in. Here at The Station Hotel we always have on offer our all-inclusive short breaks, these are available at all times of year.

The Station Hotel offers a choice of comfortable single, double, twin and family rooms, all of them en-suite. Our restaurant offers the freshest produce possible, from land and sea, and we are well known for the quality of our high teas, with a large selection of home bakes.
