Likes:
the bed was comfy
Dislikes:
the kettle was disgusting had to go and buy 1 to save the embaressment of pointing it out to them and the shower stunk of sewage
Response from The Southern:
We are sorry to read that Jake did not enjoy his stay with us. Our photographs were taken by a professional photographer only in the last few months so are 100% accurate. The kettle is clean but has a slight discoloration and has not been changed
Jake and his girlfriend did not get up for breakfast the first morning, he told me he had had such a good sleep. The second morning Jake had breakfast alone and we had a chat during breakfast. He had plenty of opportunity to tell me of any problems

"Clean, comfortable and welcoming - we'll be back"
We needed a place that catered for small children, but not pets (partner gets asthma). We found it! Sal and her staff were very welcoming and friendly - even when our energetic 5 year old sent Rice Krispies everywhere whilst opening the box. Rooms were spotless and exceptionally comfortable. Fab beds, fluffy towels and - my favourite - decent curtains. All the crockery was of good quality. Seems a small thing, but it gave our stay a touch of luxury. Read less
