we are a small hotel which has free car parking at the rear of hotel. we do try and save car parking at the front of hotel which is road side parking. so all guests have a space for there car . we are close to airport(blackpool). we have a caniso a cross the road

This was the second time we have stayed here and once again it was great, its clean comfy friendly and food very good. There are now travelodge in Blackpool take a look at the price of them then factor in the price of overnight parking and breakfast, it isn't cheap compared to the great value of the very pleasant Somerville. We came as a family, 4 adults and 1 five year old boy. We stayed in 2 rooms. The rooms were small but nicely decorated and comfortable. The hosts, sheila and keith, were lovely, really friendly and helpful. The reception rooms and bar were comfortable and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was delicious and reasonably timed. Overall we couldn't fault our stay. Read less

All of it, as above it was comfortable, friendly and welcoming.
Dislikes:
It wasn't that we didn't like it, but it was a little out of the way of the main attractions, however there were plenty of ways to get around available.

Sheila and Keith welcome you to The Somerville Hotel, a friendly, family run hotel set in the quiet area of Blackpool. The hotel is a Victorian building that has been fully refurbished to meet all the needs of leisure, business or family travellers. Ideally situated we are just 5 minutes walk from the pleasure beach and seafront, and for the gamblers amongst you we are a stone’s throw from 2 of Blackpool’s casinos. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre itself, and a 10 minute cab ride to the airport. For families staying we can provide children’s games and toys, and can recommend one of the local social clubs for a family night out. Free parking. Evening meals available on request. All prices include breakfast. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. We do not accept stag or hen groups. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Children welcome. Check-In time: 12:00 and Check-Out time: 10:00. Family Rooms are priced for children 3-12 years old. A child over 13 will pay a supplement upon arrival.
