We have been working away in your area, we shall be back in your area in about 3 - 4 weeks for about 5 weeks requiring at least 2 rooms. This hotel is ok for this purpose if the price was a little lower. Unfortunately the shower in room 21 only just managed to get luke warm, which after hard days work a good shower is a must. For this reason alone i would probably look at an alternative hotel/b & b. On a good note the drinks at the bar was a reasonable price and the breakfast was very good. Read less

We needed to stay near to Neston on Boxing Day night while visiting relatives. We were going to stay in the Premier Inn then realised that The Ship would be cheaper for the 3 rooms (including a single) that we needed and that the price included breakfast (which the Premier Inn didn't). Our rooms were nice and the staff were all friendly. We would definitely stay there again. The double room was a slightly awkward shape but had a lovely view over the Estuary. The twin was nice and modern. Read less

The breakfast was excellent. The serving staff were efficient and attentive. The portion size was very generous.
Dislikes:
The twin room was very hot but to be fair my sons who were staying there didn't tell reception so the hotel didn't have a chance to rectify this.
