Owners are attentive with a desire for you to enjoy your stay with them. The rooms are nicely appointed and the breakfast is quality and locally sourced. it is an hotel that you will want to return to again and again.

The fact that we did not have an evening meal there as we were walking the South West coast path and were unable to time our progress with any degree of accuracy.

The food at the hotel was first class with a modest selection of good wines at reasonable prices. The new owners have already undertaken some updates to the facilities and we understand that further enhancements to some of the rooms are planned over the next few months. Read less

Dislikes:
The bathroom was a little small and dated, however, we understand that this will be addressed very soon.

With a magnificent dining room, lounge and bar serving great cuisine you will find the Seawood is exclusive to Lynton and the perfect base for exploring Exmoor.
Being a family-owned and run Hotel we offer unpretentious service making you feel relaxed unhurried and a little pampered. The atmosphere is one of comfort and elegance in a building rich in historical interest. Our wonderful location gives you the opportunity of stepping onto Exmoor, boarding the unique Cliff Railway or visiting some of the many attractions the area has to offer. Or just take time out and relax in the tranquillity of our gardens, enjoy a drink on the terrace.
We take great pride in our service and at every stage we try to provide the extra care, personal attention and friendly atmosphere that so often completes the perfect break.
