"overnight stay, couldn't have chosen better."
We are a mature couple that wanted to break our journey to Cornwall. Scotland lodge was about halfway and it couldn't have been more sutable. Our host was very nice and obliging, she suggested a good pub for our evening meal only a few minutes away. In the morning we were trated to a good english breakfast. Very close to Stonehenge which we visited before resuming our journey.
I left some medication in the bathroom which she posted back to me. excellent stay and would revisit. Read less

Welcome to Scotland Lodge Farm near Stonehenge in Wiltshire, set in 46 acres of grassland. We are happy to have well-behaved dogs in our downstairs rooms and can provide stabling for horses as our daughter (a professional event rider) has a competition livery yard on site. We have plenty of off-road parking if you are travelling with horsebox, boat or caravan. We hope guests will take time to stay and relax in order to enjoy this beautiful part of Wiltshire.

This area of Wiltshire is full of lovely places to visit: Stonehenge (4 miles), the Cathedral city of Salisbury (9 miles) and Wilton House, gardens and carpet factory (7 miles). There is a Park and Ride in Wilton which serves Salisbury with buses running regularly throughout the day. Longleat House and Safari Park is only a 20 minute drive and Stourhead gardens about 40 minutes. The historic towns of Wells, Glastonbury, Bath and Winchester are within an hour's drive as is Bournemouth and its beaches. The New Forest National Park is less than an hour's drive way. We can provide plenty of brochures and maps on the local amenities and walks/cycle rides.

We have 3 attractive, comfortable rooms. There is a double room with private bathroom on the first floor and a twin and double room on the ground floor. The 2 ground floor rooms are only let out one at a time as there is only the one bathroom although both rooms do have washbasins and there is a 2nd WC/cloakroom. These 2 rooms can be let out together to families or friends who do not mind sharing the private bathroom.

We welcome walkers and cyclists and can provide lockable undercover storage for bikes, boots etc. plus washing/drying facilities if needed.

Guests are most welcome to walk in the grounds and sit out in the garden to relax and enjoy the views. We can recommend and book good local places for you to eat, some of which welcome dogs. We speak good French, German and Italian.

Check in is 17.00 - 21.00 or by arrangement please.
