We arrived to the hotel situated on a side street
opposite the South Peir and round the corner from the Pleasure Beach. We arrived to two very welcoming owners who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and spacious with a clean en suite. The hotel bar opened at 7:30pm and shut at 10:30pm and offered a wide range of drinks at affordable prices and a chance to meet the guests, the owners and play a game of pool,darts or watch tv. Blackpool Pleasure Beach is in the heart of South Shore. There are numerous pubs and clubs in South Shore and many hotels and guesthouses. Blackpool F.C. play their home games at their Bloomfield Road stadium is also in South Shore. The area is also home to South Pier. The Blackpool Tramway runs along the seaward side of the promenade to its terminus at Starr Gate.
