A minor point and not directly in relation to the accomodation.One of us is vegetarian- pub menu wasn't hugely vegetarain friendly. Cheese and biscuits (desert) was on the small side

I take your point about the selection of vegetarian dishes. During most of the year we have a fuller menu which does include a good many creative vegetarian choices. In winter however we do operate a smaller menu to ensure freshness during quiet times. On this occasion we did offer fewer vegetarian choices than we normally would so we will ensure this is remedied.

The Runswick Bay Hotel is a warm and comfortable traditional coastal inn with cask ales and homemade Yorkshire pub food making it the perfect base to explore this beautiful coastline. Aside from our relaxing bar areas and a good sized dining room, we also offer accommodation in one of our 6 en-suite letting rooms.

Whether you’re a holidaymaker, walker, surfer, fossil hunter, artist, sailor, fisherman or just on a day trip; you’ll always get the warmest of welcomes at the Runswick Bay Hotel.

We have 6 double rooms, all of which are en-suite. One of these is a family room comprising a double bed and a set of comfortable bunk beds. We also have a lovely 4-poster room for a bit of luxury. One room can be used as a twin. Discounts are offered for single occupancy. Each room has a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities.

We work hard to accommodate any needs our guest may have, We even have a high quality temporary z-bed to give you the flexibility you may need.
