we found the owners very friendly. the rooms need tlc. we had a sea view. but room for 3 very small. shower you had to hold as bracket was broken. then when shower was on it was a tiny drip. windows didnt close properly, so you heard the wind all night. and felt draft. headboard was dusty. curtains didnt fit properly. tea, coffee making facilities were in the bathroom. 1 towel provided for 3 people. one good thing was a freeview box in the room. breakfast was nice. wouldnt stay again. Dislikes:
Loads, cramped room, uncomfortable bed, 2 flights of steep stairs to climb to get to room, very basic breakfast, no other choices of cereals or menu options for breakfast, poorly cooked breakfast.

The two men who ran the hotel were really nice people, very polite and friendly, and happy to try and accomodate our needs.
Dislikes:
offered a dif room 2 wot i booked.got a room similar, but definatley not what I booked. Used babywipe & earing under bed, used milk cups behind drawers bits in kettle carpet unvacumed, b/fast poor

The hotel is close to South Pier the Pleasure Beach and the Sandcastle Complex. There is no better place for a romantic weekend and we have free private car parking available on the hotel forecourt.
Blackpool trams and buses run right outside the hotel, convenient for trips to theatres, shops and all Blackpool's famous attractions, whilst a trip to Cleveleys or the Freeport shopping centre of Fleetwood is only minutes away. Why not make Hotel Roma your base for a trip to the beautiful Lake District, The Forest of Bowland and The extremely beautiful Yorkshire Dales all within an hour's drive of Blackpool.
The Roker Hotel has the advantage of having 16 rooms many with magnificent sea views all with en-suite facilities. All rooms have colour T.V complimentary tea/coffee making facilities and are tastefully decorated. Crisp fresh linen is used throughout the hotel. We offer 4 family11 doubles and 1 twin room. We have a comfortable non smoking dry lounge situated at the front of the building with views of the Promenade and Irish Sea beyond. The bar has a pool table and also a fruit machine.
