Riverside Cottage is 1 mile from the ancient port & market town of Bideford straddling the River Torridge is nearby & offers a good range of local facilities. The spectacular North Devon coast is never far away & includes the dramatic rugged coastline to the west & the glorious sandy surfing beach at Westward Ho! backed by the famous pebble ridge and the Northam Burrows Country Park.
The River Torridge plays an important environmental role as a large portion of the Taw-Torridge estuary is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI). Enjoy the fabulous views both up and down the River with an abundance of wildlife including otters and a varied selection of bird species.
Riverside Cottage has recently been acquired by new owners’ husband and wife team Donna & Simon in December 2008. This stunning house has been lovingly revamped, paying particular attention to the charm of this 100 year old cottage; while keeping a firm focus on the incredible views which surround the property.
Riverside Cottage has been transformed with a modern contemporary style that appeals to the demands of the 21st century guest.
