three rooms in guest house and parking on street or guest house car park the owners are lovely,great big shower loved that.
Dislikes:
forgot to say to the owner the shaver light does not work in bathroom that was not a problem though,and no curtains in bedroom, and hinge on wardrobe is broken again did not spoil my the stay.

We were looking for an ideal base for a relaxed 5 night stay in the Lakes. We read the fantastic reviews about Ravenscroft and everything lived up to those fantastic reviews. Jackie and Steve were both very warm, friendly and relaxed. We stayed in Room 1, which was beautifully decorated and very well furnished with the addition of a lovely sofa for a relaxed evening. The location between Windermere and Bowness is perfect and gives the opportunity to explore both places with ease. Read less

Ravenscroft is a lovely old property situated between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness.Set back from the road the property is very quiet and peaceful offering a haven for the perfect break away.
Within easy walking distance to either Windermere and Bowness you will find a large array of cafes,bars and reataurants catering for everyones budget.The lake is a ten minute walk away where you can climb aboard one of the steamers and have a relaxing cruise around the lake.
Ravenscroft is a perfect position for exploring the beautiful Lake District in the car or close by there are a couple of tour companies who will take you round the most lovely areas without you having to worry about driving.There is horse riding nearby and a fantastic golf course.
Here at Ravenscroft we offer a very warm welcome to our guests. We have three individually styled bedrooms all containing flat screen televisions with Free View,tea and coffee making facilities,bottled water and hair dryer.
There is a comfortable guest lounge where guests are very welcome to use with a lovely garden and patio which is also for the use of our guests.
We want our guests to leave feeling as though they have had a nice break away and always look forward to them returning.
