Room was good sized.
Dislikes:
I was surprised to be refused a drink at 9.45 pm on a Sunday night because 'time' had been called. As the rooms are seperate from the pub the accomodation lacks the traditional hotel ambience.

Nestled halfway along the Chalke Valley about 8 miles from Salisbury, you’ll find one of the most friendly and inviting pubs in Wiltshire. Located in the centre of the quintessentially English village of Broadchalke, the 18th Century pub has been the hub of the village for almost 150 years, and still retains all the charm and character you’d expect.
Whether you need to refresh a parched palate after a vigorous walk, or have a lazy Sunday lunch with the whole family, we offer a little something for everyone. With cosy low ceilings and an open fire in the main bar area, the Queen’s Head has all the appeal of a truly welcoming village pub.
Four modern, bright and airy rooms are available for those wishing to stay, including a family room. So, if you want to stay a night or two to explore some of the beautiful countryside (or do some serious shopping in Salisbury!), then the Queen’s Head makes the perfect base.
With over a decade of experience preparing meals of the highest quality, owner and head chef Ryan uses the best fresh, locally-sourced produce wherever possible to create a traditional and seasonal range of dishes.
Enjoy informal dining and bar meals throughout the pub, or for more intimate meals, book a table in our restaurant. Specials are almost always available – please see the board or just ask.
Make the most of your visit and spend some time exploring the breathtaking scenery or lose yourself in the medieval city of Salisbury for a day!
The Queen’s Head has four bright, airy and comfortable rooms available for single nights or full holidays.
All rooms are en-suite, with fluffy bath towels, and they’re also in a separate building from the pub, so you’re ensured a quiet night. Get away from it all, and enjoy a relaxing stay.

We have four rooms – two double rooms, one twin and one family room. The family room can sleep two adults and two children
