The Queens Head

Nestled halfway along the Chalke Valley about 8 miles from Salisbury, you’ll find one of the most friendly and inviting pubs in Wiltshire. Located in the centre of the quintessentially English village of Broadchalke, the 18th Century pub has been the hub of the village for almost 150 years, and still retains all the charm and character you’d expect.
Whether you need to refresh a parched palate after a vigorous walk, or have a lazy Sunday lunch with the whole family, we offer a little something for everyone. With cosy low ceilings and an open fire in the main bar area, the Queen’s Head has all the appeal of a truly welcoming village pub.
Four modern, bright and airy rooms are available for those wishing to stay, including a family room. So, if you want to stay a night or two to explore some of the beautiful countryside (or do some serious shopping in Salisbury!), then the Queen’s Head makes the perfect base.

With over a decade of experience preparing meals of the highest quality, owner and head chef Ryan uses the best fresh, locally-sourced produce wherever possible to create a traditional and seasonal range of dishes.
