Comfortable bed, wonderful shower, and excellent food.I liked the unusual home made jams and marmalade, plus not having those awful wrapped butter pats.

Pewterers House B&B in Bewdley provides a good base for a number of activities. Set between the Severn Valley Railway and the River Severn, with the West Midland Safari Park only ¾ mile away. Being close to the town centre, many of our guests find they park up their cars and don’t use them again until they leave.

The Severn Valley Railway runs between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth and runs a regular service throughout the year with special events at frequent intervals. Bewdley station is only a few minutes walk away, so many guests make use of the trains to visit places along the line.

The riverbank and Bewdley Bridge are just 50 yards away, giving access to the Worcestershire Way and the Wyre Forest which has a visitor centre running activities for all the family, as well as signposted walks through the forest.

There are activities of a watery sort too – the local rowing club hosts events during the year, the Regatta attracts rowers from all over the country and there is a local Pub & Club Regatta where pride, more than money is at stake! There are also companies that hold organised canoe trips from places up river, terminating in Bewdley for a well deserved drink in one of our many pubs.

The West Midland Safari Park is within easy reach and boasts a number of animals not seen elsewhere. Within the grounds there is an amusement park with plenty of rides to keep all the family happy, also Spring Grove House, a restored 18th century Manor which with the accompanying Tree Tops facility is a great place for a wedding or corporate event.

In order to enjoy all that’s on offer locally, you need to start the day well. Pewterers House offers power showers and a hearty breakfast; choose from Continental or full English with produce locally sourced including award winning sausages and home cured bacon from Bewdley Butchers, bread from Bewdley Bakery and free range eggs. We also cater for vegetarians, please inform us at the time of booking.
